Dentsply Sirona's new generation of turbines launched

Dentsply Sirona has launched a new generation of turbines that are smoother running, lighter and pack a massive power punch.

The launch of the new Turbine Generation is characterised by a considerably reduced weight in the Premium class and a smaller head volume in the T1 to T2 classes. This smaller head - which will be featured with the versions "Control", "Boost" and "Mini" - improves the clinician's view of the area being treated.

Until now, a reduction in the head volume has resulted in a loss of power. Thanks to new innovations in manufacturing, Dentsply Sirona has managed to actually increase the power delivered in a lighter, more compact handpiece design. The reduced speed also allows the turbines to run smoother and quieter. At the same time, the new design reduces the risk of thermal damage to the teeth.

Like its predecessor model, the new turbine in the T1 Premium class is made of titanium, but it is now even more comfortable to work with as it is around 20 percent lighter.

The new turbine generation ensures much more safety and comfort in treatment with small, but very significant changes, which especially in the T1 Class will be noticeable to the practitioner in daily use.

The Turbines in the T2 Comfort Class are made of stainless steel and are more robust than ever before thanks to further refinements to the materials. They also have a smaller head volume with a simultaneous increase in power.
