inEos X5 from Sirona wins iF Design Award

Thanks to its outstanding design, Sirona's inEos X5 laboratory scanner has received the renowned iF product design award for 2014.

The extraoral scanner digitises impressions and partial and whole jaw models with its 5-axis robot arm. In this way, the new scanning technology with autofocus function offers outstanding accuracy and depth of definition, thus creating the perfect platform for designing and producing CAD/CAM restorations. The new operating concept increases flexibility for the dental technician so that the scanning process can be optimally integrated into the workflow of the laboratory.
