The KaVo Group has increased its focus on Australian and New Zealand with the appointment of Mr Bobby Trenkovski to the position of Country Manager. The role includes fostering closer links between the company's corporate and manufacturing bases globally and its distributors in the region.
"I'm proud to have joined the KaVo Group," Mr Trenkovski said. "KaVo has a long and well-respected history and is renowned for its quality and innovation. My focus, in conjunction with our main distributors Henry Schein Halas and Henry Schein Shalfoon, will be to continue to grow the profile of the worldwide industry giant locally, allowing more dental professionals to experience the long-term benefits of partnering with the KaVo Group."
Part of Danaher Corporation's Dental Business, the KaVo Group is "an alliance of world class dental companies united by common values of innovation, quality and exceptional customer service". Well-known brands under this umbrella include KaVo, Imaging Sciences/i-CAT, Gendex and Pelton & Crane. Collectively, the Group manufacturers the gamut of dental equipment from handpieces to intraoral, extraoral and cone beam radiography systems to dental units, CAD/CAM systems and more.
According to Mr Trenkovski, a key initial focus will be the introduction of the newly released KaVo Imaging portfolio highlighted by the Pan Exam Plus, a 3-in-1 2D/3D Panoramic X-Ray which compliments the market leading larger field of view i-CAT unit. Whilst panoramic imaging is new to the KaVo brand, the Pan Exam Plus has been brought to the market borrowing on 50 years of experience and knowledge in imaging to support it.
Mr Trenkovski holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and has spent most of his career in the dental equipment industry sector, with roles in sales, marketing and management. The role of country manager was created following the resignation of the KaVo Group Asia Pacific Manager Mr Russell Christensen, who has joined Henry Schein Halas as its new Equipment Director.
"My aim is for any dental professional, institution or corporation who are considering an equipment purchase to think of the KaVo Group first," Mr Trenkovski said. "By selecting KaVo, they will find themselves a world class equipment partner. They can have confidence they will be able to find a suitable product for their needs from a world class alliance of dental equipment companies."
