M1 Compact Line Milling Unit from Zirkonzahn saves space and time while producing excellent results

The M1 Compact Line Milling Unit developed by Zirkonzahn, with its various models, takes account of the modern laboratory’s differentiated and clear requirements both in terms of milling results and practical logistic handling. The development of the compact line is based on the proven M5 milling unit technology and is available in several versions in order to meet several laboratories’ requirements. You only buy and pay for what you really need, no more.

The M1 Compact Line includes four models: M1 SOFT, M1 WET, M1 WET HEAVY METAL and M1 ABUTMENT. The versions M1 SOFT, M1 WET as well as M1 WET HEAVY METAL are respectively provided with the intelligent five-axis orbit technology. This means that milling is possible at any conceivable work piece position: even undercuts and diverging abutments are processed in a simple and fast way. The machines differ with regard to the materials’ processing.

With the M1 SOFT milling unit all soft materials, such as Prettau® Zirconia, zirconia Prettau Anterior® or ICE Zirkon Translucent, pre-sintered aluminium oxide, resins, wax, wood or even sinter metal can be milled. The M1 WET milling unit also incorporates a wet processing function, which allows grinding not only soft materials but also glass ceramics. The wet and dry processing of soft as well as of hard materials (for instance, titanium and chrome-cobalt) does not represent a problem for the M1 WET HEAVY METAL milling unit: the orbit built on four bearings and its high-torque milling spindle provide extra stability, which is essential for the milling of hard alloys. The four-axis M1 ABUTMENT milling unit can instead process precast titanium abutments (Raw-Abutments®) as well as glass ceramics and composites.

The M1 Compact Line Milling Unit is particularly compact and space saving (47.7 x 69.3 x 61.3 cm). It is characterised by its extreme short milling time thanks to the fast engines. It can be combined in an optimal way with Zirkonzahn’s scanners and the user-friendly Zirkonzahn Software.
