New Pure Newtron ultrasonic generators by Acteon Satelec

Acteon Satelec has introduced the Pure Newtron range of benchtop ultrasonic generators featuring the latest technology designed to set new standards in treatment protocols.

Since introducing piezo-electric devices in the early 1970s, Satelec has continued to pioneer this technology to become a global leader in ultrasonic equipment for dentistry.

The latest Newtron P5 and Newtron P5XS, along with the new Newtron Slim B.LED handpiece, deliver superior ultrasonic clinical dental treatment with less user fatigue, decreased chair time and greater patient comfort.

With a modern design, the Pure Newtron range provides aesthetic appeal while also answering hygiene needs. The flat glass surface and the removable dials for adjusting power and irrigation ensure easy cleaning for infection control. In addition, the handpiece and the silicone handpiece holders can be removed and autoclaved for ultimate best practice in preventing cross contamination.

Simultaneously detecting and removing dental plaque is now possible thanks to the B.LED technology and F.L.A.G. disclosing solution exclusive to Aceton Satelec. When applied directly to the teeth or diluted in the tank of the Newtron P5XS, plaque is fluoresced and revealed under the blue light of the Newtron Slim B.LED handpiece.

In addition, the F.L.A.G. disclosing solution will not stain teeth or gums and simply rinses off with water.

The Newtron P5 and Newtron P5XS generators have the patented Cruise Control technology allowing gentle, uniform treatment. This technology, again exclusive to Acteon Satelec, regulates the frequency and amplitude of the tip vibration for optimum management of the handpiece. The power is adjusted in real time depending on the resistance encountered by the tip. Efficiency is maximised and treatment becomes more comfortable while reducing chair time.
