ProTaper Universal, sterile and ready when you are!

Dentsply Australia will soon supplied ProTaper® Universal root canal treatment files will in convenient, pre-sterilised blister packs, similar to ProTaper NEXT™ packaging.

This change is designed to help practices to increase practice efficiency. There is no need to autoclave the files before use, reducing the preparation time for root canal treatments. The change in packaging includes ProTaper Universal rotary shaping and finishing files, ProTaper Universal for Hand Use shaping and finishing files and ProTaper Universal Re-treatment files. All ProTaper Universal files will continue to be supplied in packs of 6 files and the price will remain the same as the current files. In addition, ProTaper Universal SX file will be replaced with the new PROTAPER NEXT XA file. The ProTaper NEXT XA file is the same as the SX file, with the same design and made of the same material. The main difference is that PROTAPER NEXT XA will be supplied in pre-sterilised blister of 3 files.
