Sirona's new SINIUS treatment center was presented with the prestigious "red dot" design award in July, making it one of the 60 best design objects of 2012.
Selected by jury, SINIUS prevailed over more than 4,500 other products to receive the red dot. Representatives of Sirona and Puls Produktdesign, the agency responsible for the design of the SINIUS, accepted the "red dot trophy" at a gala dinner in Essen, Germany. Sirona treatment centers have already won several accolades in past years. TENEO received the iF Gold Award for design; and the EasyTouch user interface, which is also part of SINIUS, was given the iF communication design award. The patient headrest MultiMotion was also presented with the iF product design award.
