Sirona Australia and New Zealand has launched an Over-the-Patient version of SINIUS. Its mobile support arm system means that dentists can perfectly adjust instruments to their individual working positions, allowing for an ergonomic working environment at all times. The new SINIUS TS makes for one of the 24 innovations launched at IDS last year thanks to Sirona's ongoing investment in Research & Development that benefit both the practice and the practitioner whilst simultaneously improving overall patient experience.
The SINIUS TS treatment center from Sirona sets standards when it comes to flexibility and the technical support of the most ergonomic working position. Thanks to the design of the chair, dentists are able to move the tray independently in all directions, and therefore allowing it to be flexibly positioned closer to the patient.
This solution not only offers practitioners unique freedom of movement - it is also easier than ever to work in an ergonomic position in every situation. With SINIUS TS, Sirona has once again expanded the central theme of efficiency and flexibility, being synonymous to all other SINIUS chairs. The capabilities of the over-the-patient system help dentists to position all elements optimally and ergonomically. The dentist element is suited to a 12 o'clock treatment position, as can it easily be moved in any other working position. The 420mm vertical range of movement allows the dentist to optimally adjust the element for a sitting or standing working position. SINIUS TS has particularly compact dimensions thanks to its functional and space-saving support arm system and can easily be positioned in smaller rooms.
Expanding the efficiency class
To date, SINIUS, Sirona's efficiency class, has been available in the sliding track and continental style versions (SINIUS CS). Like its siblings, SINIUS TS is equipped with a number of exciting features. The patient chair has not only a modern design but also provides the patient adjustable active lumbar support and thermo (heat removing) upholstery.
State-of-the-art technology
For the dentist, the EasyTouch user interface of all three SINIUS versions offers state of the art touch screen technology providing the basis for integrating new user-friendly functions. The Endodontic Treatment Function with built in digital Apex Locator are integrated into the dental chair. Special integrated functions such as a file library are available at the touch of a button. Compared to the set up time and use of a conventional table top unit, you can save minutes in your valuable working day.
To save time while complying with hygiene procedures, hygiene adapters have been integrated into the SINIUS chairs, which eliminate time intensive cleaning processes. In addition to the three versions (sliding track, swivel arm, OTP), with SINIUS dentists can also choose different application packages and many individual options, and can configure their dental chair to their exact requirements.
Full multimedia integration
Treatment planning presentation is more
versatile and effective with the sophisticated yet easy to use multimedia functions. At the touch of a button you can display intraoral images, panoramic and 3D x-rays, as well as videos and PowerPoint presentations to make communication with your patients easier than ever before. The SINIUS software running on all three models will help you to keep up with future product developments as more of them will be software based in the future, allowing dentists to have the latest technology without buying new equipment.
