Sirona Dental Systems has manufactured its 1000th INTEGO treatment center from its plant in Bensheim, Germany. According to the company, customer feedback has shown that the rapid success of the new model it introduced in Australia and New Zealand at the beginning of 2015 was down to one factor - "Made in Germany" - which translates to high quality, attractive design, good engineering and comprehensive functionality.
From the start of the INTEGO project back in early 2011 through to the market launch, around 60 Sirona employees spent more than 1,000 days designing, developing, planning, testing and producing the product. The 1,000th INTEGO, which recently left the production plant in Bensheim, confirms Sirona's claim to set the highest standards for quality. The new INTEGO treatment center shows exactly what this means at Sirona – passion for form, function, and attention to detail.
INTEGO incorporates all the features of the new generation of Sirona treatment centers that were introduced with the TENEO and continued with the SINIUS including unique chair design, future sustainability due to the modern operating concept with EasyTouch, integrated sanitization concept and full networking capability to name a few.
The first dental treatment center produced by the company that would later become Sirona was in 1892 and in 1956, the first Siemens dental treatment center was named Sirona. Since 1997 when Sirona became and independent operation, more than 130,000 treatment centers have been installed around the world.
