The International Team for Implantology (ITI) is launching a search for the most talented young speakers to take the stage during its next ITI World Symposium in Singapore from May 14 to 16, 2020. The overall event puts the focus on the patient and is running under the title "Evidence and Trends for Patient-Centered Solutions: The Challenge of Choice".
The ITI is inviting young professionals to submit abstracts for the Young Breakout Sessions at the ITI World Symposium 2020. This is an opportunity for aspiring speakers to present their ideas, approaches and experience at the world's largest international implant dentistry event with an anticipated audience of 6,000 participants.
Abstracts for the Young Breakout Sessions must be submitted by January 31, 2019 and will then be assessed by the Scientific Program Committee. All the applicants whose abstracts are accepted will be asked to send a short and creative video pitch of up to two minutes. The aim of the video is to demonstrate the speaker's presentation skills and also get viewers enthused about the subject being addressed. All accepted videos will be uploaded to an online portal where viewers can express their preference in the form of likes. The final selection for the 27 available lecture slots in the Young Breakout Sessions will be made by the Scientific Program Committee based on the suitability of the topic as part of the overall program, regional diversity and presentation skills as well as the number of likes.
Further details on the application process as well as the electronic application form are available at the ITI World Symposium website: www.iti.org/worldsymposium2020..
"The ITI World Symposium is one of the most important and highly regarded events in implant dentistry", said Stephen Chen, ITI President. "With this innovative initiative, the ITI is actively seeking out and promoting the next generation of international speakers. Our Young Breakout Sessions are the ideal vehicle to highlight the ideas and new directions being explored by our younger colleagues and make them available to a broad audience."
