The challenge for endodontists to ensure successful root canal treatment involves the thorough removal of all dentinal debris and biofilm from the canals. This can be difficult due to the complex anatomy of the root canal and inefficient cleaning and disinfection will increase the chance of further pain and retreatment for patients.

Ultrasonic irrigation of the root canal is an effective addition to syringe irrigation, especially in the apical third of the tooth. The vibration generated by ultrasonic tips creates a vortex that enhances the flow and efficiency of the irrigant through the entire root canal.

The EndoSuccess Retreatment Kit contains six ultrasonic instruments to cover all aspects of orthograde endodontics: canal localization, cavity access preparation, retreatment and loosening of posts or crowns.
