Biomatlante MBCP bone graft substitute
MBCP synthetic bone substitute is a biphasic calcium phosphate ceramic composed of 60% hydroxyapatite (HA) and 40% tricalcium phosphate beta (TCP). HA is the closest synthetic equivalent to human bone mineral (biological apatite crystals), is biocompatible and bioactive in vivo. TCP is recognized to have great bioactivity and fast dissolution to promote ionic exchange. MBCP is indicated for all bone defects; extraction sockets; sinus floor augmentation; intraosseus defects; ridge augmentation; defects around implant; and ridge reconstruction. The effectiveness of MBCP Bone Graft Substitute has been critically evaluated during more than 25 years of clinical studies.
