BioMend is an absorbable membrane rigid enough to create and maintain space. BioMend eliminates second-stage surgery for membrane removal and is designed to reduce wound trauma and surgical chair time. It also serves as barrier to prevent epithelial cell migration and allow passage of essential nutrients while providing a rigid scaffold for tissue regeneration in GTR and GBR procedures.
