Ceramill Sintron
Amann Girrbach has launched new Ceramill Sintron millable CrCo blanks for its Ceramill Motion and Ceramill Motion 2 CAD/CAM systems. Developed by Amann Girrbach, for the first time Sintron makes it possible to "dry mill" this type of material on small, in-house laboratory milling machines because of its hardness properties. The wax-like texture of Ceramill Sintron blanks enables the material to be easily dry milled on desktop machines with the frameworks attaining their final state during the subsequent sinter process with shielding gas flushing in the Ceramill Argotherm furnace - a processing procedure comparable to that used for zirconia. Sintron CrCo restorations exhibit a very homogeneous material structure without shrinkage cavities.
