FenderWedge Prep
FenderWedge Prep from Directa Dental Sweden is a combined wedge and steel plate that protects the adjacent tooth and surrounding gingiva. FenderWedge Prep has a thin and "boat-shaped" tip which allows it to be inserted into tight proximal spaces at the same time as it condenses the gingiva without damage. FenderWedge Prep can be inserted buccaly or lingually. The steel plate is perforated thus allowing it to be bent before insertion so that it will lean against the adjacent tooth to be protected, providing better space and vision, saving time and increasing safety. The wedge with its conical profile is pushed so it sits tightly.
