Hu-Friedy Composite Burnisher

Hu-Friedy’s new TNBB18 instrument is designed for clinicians who love using the BB18 - Ball Burnisher on composite, even though it is designed for amalgam restorations. The TNBB18 is ostensibly the same instrument, but now with an XTS coating that is perfect for use with composite resins. The exclusive Aluminum Titanium Nitride coating creates an extremely hard, smooth surface structure that resists scratching and sticking. The unique black finish offers enhanced contrast between the instrument, tooth structure and the composite material. The TNBB18 features a smooth, large, lightweight handle design to reduce hand fatigue and increase control and the non-stick surface resists pull back of material when removing the instrument from the composite material. Scratch resistance also reduces the risk of material build-up on the instrument tip.
