The iTero Digital Impression System allows the clinician to easily take digital impressions of single-unit cases as well as more complex restorative, orthodontic and cosmetic full arch treatment plans. The newly redesigned iTero Digital Impression System maintains its innovative powderless technology and features a modern design with a smaller, lighter and faster wand. Onscreen visualisation of the scan in real time ensures that preparations are perfectly completed and that there is adequate occlusal clearance to achieve the best cosmetic and restorative outcome. The most unique feature of the iTero system is the milled polyurethane models which are un-sectioned and easily snap-on to a fully adjustable iTero articulator. They arrive ready for production with removable dies and the soft tissue remains intact ensuring proper emergence profile. The result is a reduction in seating time and an increase in patient satisfaction. Notably, iTero remains the only digital impression system compatible with the Invisalign process and the Invisalign Outcome simulator; which gives instant onscreen simulated outcomes alongside the patient’s current dentition for a direct comparison. This makes it easy to educate patients in the benefits of Invisalign treatment and improves case acceptance.
