New Multilink Hybrid Abutment from Ivoclar Vivadent is a new, self-curing luting composite from Ivoclar Vivadent. It is indicated for the permanent, extra-oral cementation of ceramic structures on the bases of hybrid abutments and hybrid abutment crowns. In combination with the universal primer Monobond Plus, Multilink Hybrid Abutment establishes an excellent bond between ceramic structures made of lithium disilicate (IPS e.max Abutment Solutions) or zirconium dioxide and the titanium base. In addition to the medium opacity shade level MO 0, Multilink Hybrid Abutment is also available in the highly opaque shade HO 0. This shade provides optimum aesthetics even in very challenging cases, such as hybrid abutment crowns made of IPS e.max LT and cemented to a titanium base. Thanks to the convenient Automix syringe, Multilink Hybrid Abutment is quickly applied to the ceramic structure and the titanium base. The cementation composite can also be stored at room temperature. It will also be incorporated into the IPS e.max Abutment Solutions Cem Kit.
