Nulite F is bis-gma hybrid composite that is reinforced with glass micro-rods to produce a composite with exceptionally high strength and extraordinary fracture toughness. Due to its high fibre content Nulite F does not lend itself to a highly polished finish. It is compatible with all other composites and where necessary layering can be used to enhance wear and patient comfort. For occlusal surfaces, we recommend the use of a layer of aesthetic composite over the Nulite F foundation. A smooth temporary wear resistant finish can be also obtained by the simple use of BDT Resist, fissure sealant, or BDT Microfinish glazing resin. Nulite F is available in four shades - Light, Medium, Dark, Neutral - and offered in syringes and compules.

Indications:

  • Foundation for large class I & II's.
  • Where an occlusal layer of aesthetic hybrid composite such as NV is used.
  • High stress restorations
  • Construction of composite bridges and long term temporaries.
  • Splints
  • Posts and core build ups
  • Ortho bracket cement, custom bite turbo's, locking wires.

Features:

  • High strength
  • Fracture toughness more than twice that of other composites
  • Resistant to common composite failure mechanisms such as the propagation of small cracks
  • Very low volumetric shrinkage (1.5%)
  • Radio opaque - according to ISO 4049
  • Excellent handling properties - carves well, semi packable, does not stick to instruments

Benefits:

  • High performance BIS-GMA hybrid.
  • Micro-rod reinforced.
  • Radio opaque.
  • Three patented reinforcing mechanisms result in almost three times the fracture toughness of conventional composites. High fill ratio for the ultimate in low volumetric shrinkage.
  • Available in syringes and cartridges.
