Manufactured in Switzerland by TTT, the Ozotop ozone generator produces ozone gas by passing air through a high voltage gradient, creating a precise gas volume with a defined ozone concentration that is delivered intraorally. Ozone will penetrate into fissures and dentinal tubules to neutralise caries without removal of tooth structure and it also allows minerals to flood in providing instant pain relief. Ozone is more powerful than sodium hypochlorite at neutralising bacteria and is an excellent coagulant. Ozotop is indicated for minimally invasive and tooth preserving procedures and is easy to use and low maintenance. Ozone can be used to boost teeth whitening treatments and as a chemical-free disinfection in root canals and periodontal pockets. Ozotop is efficient and painless, fast and effective and safe and reliable. Coro, Perio and Endo tips are available.

More recently, the use of ozone with IFAS machines has been used for treating injuries in both my sporting and professional life. Consequently, I was extremely interested in Professor Ed Lynch’s work an...
