Created to provide dental practices with a whitening option that can be as convenient for patients as over the counter options, Philips Zoom! QuickPro can be applied in as little as 5 minutes. The whitening system can deliver up to 4 shades of whitening and a study conducted by Philips Zoom found patients experienced almost no sensitivity. The 5-minute application procedure includes isolation of the tooth surfaces, application of the Philips Zoom QuickPro whitening varnish which contains 20 percent hydrogen peroxide and then application of a patent pending sealant. The patient can then leave the office and after 30 minutes the sealant and whitening varnish can be rinsed or brushed off the teeth.
