CDR DICOM for Windows is Schick's digital radiography software based on DICOM's open standard, which provides a common language for medical devices to exchange images and other patient-related information. CDR client application communicates with CDRServer using DICOM 3.0 networking protocols - a unique design that allows any other DICOM-aware application to query, review, process, and display your images. Designed to complement Schick's intraoral sensor range, including the world's only true wireless intraoral sensor, CDR DICOM's features include ODBC Database; SkyWriter; WebViewer; Anatomical Icons in Viewsets; CDR Data Administration Utility; and more. Based on Client/Server architecture, CDR DICOM provides increased reliability, central storage of data, increased security, ability to scale upward and add additional hardware/operatories as your practice grows. The CDR DICOM can be used by other applications such as practice management software to query, retrieve, and display patient and image data.
