Simed electrolytic polisher

The Simed electrolytic polisher is a compact, user friendly unit designed to highly polish CoCr frameworks. Electrolytic polishers work on a molecular level, leaving the surface of the metal as smooth as possible. This is achieved by stripping the “high” parts of the surface first, to get to an even flat surface. Solid state heavy duty electrical components control the power source for the electro-striping current, while a clever Perspex container holds the electrolytic solution, with the frameworks being polished. The Perspex container comes complete with a spill tray and has a capacity of 2.5 litres. Ideal for use with Megadental Megalyt electrolytic solution, this unit makes polishing CoCr frameworks a breeze.
