VOCO Calcicur

VOCO's proven ready-to-use calcium hydroxide paste Calcicur is now available with the new application cannula type 47. This cannula can also be used inside the root canal, due to its particularly narrow shape, with an opening of just 0.6 mm in diameter and a length of 20 mm, combined with its flexibility. Its wings make it easy to lock in place on the syringe, and the Luer lock ensures a tight grip. All this now makes working with Calcicur even simpler and more effective. Calcicur is used for direct pulp capping and after pulpotomies, as well as indirect capping in cases of caries profunda. It is equally suitable for temporary root canal fillings.

Calcicur is ready to use immediately and can be applied underneath any lining or restorative material. Its high pH value of over 12.5 gives this paste its antimicrobial effect. Due to its calcium hydroxide content of 45 percent, the radiopaque Calcicur promotes the formation of tertiary dentine and an effective protection of the pulp.
