VOCO Twinky Star Flow

Twinky Star Flow from VOCO now offers a unique flowable and coloured restoration material with glitter effect, designed specifically for restorations of deciduous teeth. This high-quality compomer in the new flow version possesses all the characeristics of the proven, packable restorative Twinky Star, but with its flowability making it particularly suitable for treating cavities that are difficult to access or very small, as frequently found particularly in infants.

Twinky Star Flow allows very good wetting of the base and walls of the cavity and thus guarantees high-quality fillings, even in clinically difficult situations. A further advantage is that, in small cavities, Twinky Star is applied in only one layer and can immediately be cured. When just out of the syringe, it is at first very flowable. When pressure subsides, the material firms up. This guarantees perfect marginal adaptation, whilst at the same time preventing the material from flowing out of the cavity.

Beyond that, other convincingly excellent physical properties of the light-curing, radiopaque Twinky Star Flow are its high filler content, low rate of polymerisation shrinkage, as well as good adhesion and marginal adaptation. Its high compressive strength, pronounced flexural strength and low level of abrasion ensure lasting stability. Twinky Star Flow scores points in particular through its high biocompatibility, complemented by its fluoride-releasing properties, actively contributing to the prevention of secondary caries. Twinky Star’s stability and colour retention mean that fillings will last and securely remain in place until exfoliation occurs.

Twinky Star Flow is available in the colours pink and blue. This restorative material developed specifically for children comes in the practical, non-dripping NDT syringe.
